Celebrating 25 years

New Life Fellowship UPC will celebrate its 25th anniversary on March 28, 2025. We invite you to join us for this monumental occasion! So much has occurred in the church over the last 25 years, and we want to pause for a moment to reflect on all the good things that God has done! You will be blessed by the ministry of Rev. Mark Brown of South Dakota.

July 1999

In the months leading up to July, the O'Dell family had been feeling a call to start a church in the Springfield, MA area. In July of 1999, Bro. and Sis. O'Dell and their family relocated to begin this new journey. Christmas For Christ, a church fundraising campaign, helped establish them here as they began bible studies out of their home.

20XX

After outgrowing home Bible studies, it was time for the church to seek a space of its own. Growth was happening and the door was opened to occupy space on Sunday mornings at a local middle school. The school's library and cafeteria were used for services and Sunday School for children.

MONTH 2003

In MONTH of 2003, New Life Fellowship took a step of faith and moved into its first church building setting on 80 Arvilla Street, Springfield. The church was blessed with a rental agreement and the opportunity to use the sanctuary and classrooms for worship and teaching spaces.

March 2019

New Life Fellowship rented out space at 80 Arvilla Street at this point for over 16 years. The church began looking at expanding into other locations until the door was opened in March for them to purchase the property they rented. It was a miracle how the building was obtained, but God was faithful to His promise. From this point on, the church would start making the building their own with maintenance and decorative updates. The church no longer needed to set up and break down all of its equipment week after week. 80 Arvilla Street was now home.

January 2024

After a few years of adjusting to being owners of the building and property, the church voted to undergo major renovations to the main sanctuary, foyer, nursery, offices, and prayer center. New paint, carpet, and a complete platform and seating renovation transformed the space into a beautiful new house of worship!
